The brand name Halotestin has been discontinued, but generic versions may be available.<\/p>\n<h4>What Are Side Effects of HALOGEN ( Halotestin) ?<\/h4>\n<p>Common side effects of Halotestin (fluoxymesterone) include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>nausea<\/li>\n<li>vomiting<\/li>\n<li>headache<\/li>\n<li>skin color changes<\/li>\n<li>increased\/decreased sexual interest<\/li>\n<li>oily skin<\/li>\n<li>hair loss, and<\/li>\n<li>acne<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tell your doctor if you experience these unlikely but serious side effects: anxiety, depression, increased anger. Men should tell their doctor if they experience side effects including difficulty urinating, frequent or prolonged erections, or breast swelling\/tenderness. Women should tell their doctor if they experience side effects including deepening voice, unusual hair growth, or irregular menstrual periods.<\/p>\n<p>Seek medical care or call 911 at once if you have the following serious side effects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serious eye symptoms such as sudden vision loss, blurred vision, tunnel vision, eye pain or swelling, or seeing halos around lights;<\/li>\n<li>Serious heart symptoms such as fast, irregular, or pounding heartbeats; fluttering in your chest; shortness of breath; and sudden dizziness, lightheadedness, or passing out;<\/li>\n<li>Severe headache, confusion, slurred speech, arm or leg weakness, trouble walking, loss of coordination, feeling unsteady, very stiff muscles, high fever, profuse sweating, or tremors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This document does not contain all possible side effects and others may occur.
